Awh this is the best time! The excitement of the big day and the planning that lies ahead. Going venue hunting, dress shopping and picking your colours and themes.

I would love to go back to this stage as there are so many amazing creatives in this wee country of ours that will help elevate your ideas.

Pinterest is a wonderful place to get lost in, but always remember why you are getting married in the first place - love. Don't get too carried away with ideas, stick to a theme, a budget and that way you won't get overwhelmed with it all.

The main things to tick of your list first are:

  • Date, month or season you would like
  • Venue
  • Church or Celebrant that matches your ideal date
  • Photographer...obviously :)
  • Videographer
  • Event stylist - if you want to take the pressure of doing it yourself
  • Music and Entertainment
  • Cake
  • Cars

Every wedding booked with me receives a complimentary Pre-Wedding Session.

I love these sessions. Getting to know you both before the big day, your plans and chatting over how the day will unfold! There is no pressure at this shoot, I keep it very casual - just a wee walk, chat and a few photos along the way!
